A Snow White and Seven Dwarves Themed Wedding Ceremony

If you want a magical fairytale wedding ceremony, here’s the perfect little Snow White and Seven Dwarves inspired script. Feel free to be creative and add or take out parts as you see fit. Enjoy!

Introduction

The ceremony space can be decorated with a fun forest theme. White, yellow, and blue flowers can be arranged around the ceremony space to mimic Snow White’s colors. A fake wishing well (or even a real one if that’s possible) can be used for guests to throw good luck pennies in.

Officiant:

Welcome, dear friends and family, to this momentous occasion! We gather today to celebrate the wedding of [Bride’s Name] and [Groom’s Name]. Can you also feel the wonder and magic in the air today? The forest seems to be alive with it. I was told that seven special little friends were to join us for the celebration today.

Officiant calls out in a loud voice:

Hello! Where are my seven little dwarf friends?

The Seven Dwarves Processional

(Seven friends or family members dressed as the dwarves, each carrying a lantern, appear from the back entrance and walk down the aisle in pairs and join the officiant at the front of the room)

Now that we’re all here let’s welcome the beautiful bride and her groom. Start up the band!

The Bride’s Processional

(Happy, upbeat music plays as the bride walks down the aisle escorted by her loved one, who can be dressed as the Huntsman)

Officiant

Just as Snow White found friendship among the Seven Dwarfs, so too have [Bride’s Name] and [Groom’s Name] found strength and support in their own band of loving friends and family.

The Declaration of Intent

Officiant

[Bride’s Name], have you come here today of your own free will, to take [Groom’s Name] as your lawfully wedded husband, to love and cherish him, in sickness and in health, for richer or for poorer, until the magic of your love forever endures?

(Bride responds)

I do.

(The officiant repeats the question to the Groom)

The Exchange of Vows

(The couple can choose traditional vows or write their own Snow White-inspired vows)

Bride: [Groom’s Name], you are my Prince Charming, the one who made my heart sing and chased away the darkness. Today, I promise to be your Snow White, your loyal companion and partner in every adventure. We will share laughter and tears, just like the forest creatures share their berries. With every sunrise, my love for you will bloom again brand new, a love as true and pure as a single wish upon a wishing well.

Groom: [Bride’s Name], you are my fairest of them all, the one who filled my life with light and banished the lonely echoes of the forest. Today, I vow to be your Grumpy, your Sleepy, your Bashful, your Doc, your Happy, your Sneezy, and your Dopey – all rolled into one. Together, we will face any challenge, hand in hand, just like the Seven Dwarfs working together to mine precious gems. You are my missing puzzle piece, my happily ever after, and I promise to love you with all my heart, forever and a day.

The Ring Exchange

Officiant:

With these rings, you pledge your unwavering love and commitment. May they be a constant reminder of the magic you create together, a love as precious as a diamond hidden deep within the forest.

Groom to Bride: I give you this ring as a symbol of my never-ending love. May you wear it as a reminder of our promise to stay faithful forever.

Bride to Groom: I give you this ring as a symbol of my never-ending love. May you wear it as a reminder of our promise to stay faithful forever.

Officiant:

Just as Snow White wished for a friend, so too do you both wish for a lifetime of happiness together. As these wishes descend into the well, may they become a wellspring of love that nourishes your journey.

The Pronouncement of Marriage

By the power vested in me by the state of [State name], I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride!

(The couple seals their vows with a kiss)

Recessional

A joyful instrumental version of “Heigh-Ho” plays as the newly married couple and the Seven Dwarfs walk back down the aisle.

Guests shower the couple with bubbles or flower petals
